Talk by Prof. Surajit Sen

School of Liberal Arts, IIT-Jodhpur, had the pleasure of listening to Prof. Surajit Sen (State University of New York, Buffalo) speak on the topic, “Can a typical urban population survive an airborne pandemic” last Friday, i.e., 31st March. Prof. Sen presented strategies for urban planners to tackle and survive airborne pandemics. Drawing insights from an “Agent-based model,” he elaborated on the vulnerability of urban areas to airborne pandemics.
