Talk by Prof. Mitali Mukerji

The Faculty and Students at the School of Liberal Arts, IITJ had the pleasure of listening to Prof. Mitali Mukerji, recipient of the prestigious Shanti Swarup Bhatnagar Prize (2010) for outstanding research in the area of Medical Sciences. Prof. Mukerji was earlier a chief scientist at the CSIR-Institute of Genomics and Integrative Biology, a Fellow of the Indian Academy of Sciences, and a fellow of the National Academy of Sciences. Currently, she is the Head of the Department of Bioscience and Bioengineering, IIT Jodhpur). In her illustrious academic career, Prof. Mukerji has published over 100 research publications in international peer-reviewed journals.
